April 14th on Zoom 9:00-approx. 10:30 a.m.
April is exciting as we watch new life emerging, sometimes it seems daily. Other times cold winds beat that fresh growth back, but I want to celebrate that new life (not the cold winds!).
I have prepared three paintings of hyacinth buds using different media on different types of paper. On white paper I painted a simple hyacinth bud using either watercolor paint or watercolor pencil. In a third painting, I prepared my own colored paper as the support of an emerging hyacinth plant using a variety of media, which could include watercolor paint, artist ink, watercolor pencil, and or graphite pencil, depending on your interest.
I will complete demonstrations of each of these paintings in a one-session class. You can choose a simple hyacinth bud on a single stem or choose the slightly more involved painting of the emerging plant.
